Blunt's got a handful of movies coming up (most notably a role as an FBI agent in Denis Villeneuve's forthcoming Sicario), but it's her turn as a soldier in Edge of Tomorrow that caught everyone's attention last year. Her powerful performance flipped the typical damsel-in-distress trope on its head — exactly what we want to see more of.
